Best product, I struggle with products that make my hair greasy but this works perfectly.
This product is all I use now. My hair started curling after I cut it short and I couldn’t find anything that suited the fine texture of my hair, without making it super heavy, dry or greasy. Riggs No. 2 is the perfect blend of lotion and pomade so it’s easy to apply to wet hair and spreads easily without clumping in certain areas. Just apply to slightly wet hands and then rub together to run through the hair. It also works great to refresh the curls if your hair isn’t wet and as a style setter or finisher.
Finally found a hair product that works for my hair.. also smells amazing.

A curly-hair friend recommended Riggs No.2 Curly Primer to me after she’d been using it for about six months and her hair was bouncy and curly. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and it’s salt and pepper in colour (I’m 55 yrs old). I’ve tried many many curly hair creams etc on my hair over the years and this product is the best, hands down! Not only did it enhance my curls, it transformed the wavy sections of my hair into curls. WOW…what an ace product it is and it smells lovely. My hair is not crisp, crunchy or frizzy after using this product. I applied it to wet hair, dried my hair with a diffuser and scrunched it to get maximum curls and my curls look very natural and not forced. Now, I will need a lifetime supply of this stuff because I will never use another curly cream product for the rest of my life. Simply the best!
After spending a few days in hospital, I couldn’t wait to wash my hair and try my new Riggs product. I wasn’t disappointed. For me it works better as a second day reset on my low porous, fine wavy grey hair but I couldn’t be happier with the result. Highly recommend the Curly Primer and will purchase again in the future.
For somebody that’s struggled with dry, coarse, frizzy hair most of my life this product has been an absolute lifesaver!
It’s incredibly easy to use/apply. I just apply a small amount after I shower in the morning whilst my hair is still wet and I just let it dry naturally throughout the morning.
